Color, color everywhere....

The weather may be gray and wet in the Pacific Northwest, but there is still color, color everywhere!

The day we took the ferry from Port Townsend to Whidbey Island
even the skies were partially blue!

I think my favorite colors were along the Snohomish River....
a lovely place for an autumn stroll, all bundled up against the cold.

Ah. . .so close to Canada. . just a skip and a jump and you could have come to tea.
The colors in your pictures are magnificent.

How lovely to see these colors through your eyes. I think my favorite is the leaf-strewn parkway and the bare tree. Just behind it is another tree getting ready to drop all its leaves.

You certainly did find colour Sara and I think I like the carpet of russet red leaves the best.

Beautiful, beautiful fall color. That red leaf is a stunner.

We had a purple coneflower actually bloom here last week...a little out of season! But most welcome.
